Research

Dr. Xue has been selected as a participating acupuncturist in the "Back In Action" study, a multicenter clinical research trial of acupuncture for the management of chronic low back pain among older patients. This study is a collaboration among the research centers at Kaiser Permanente in Washington and Northern California, Sutter Health (California), and the Institute for Family Health (New York); this research is funded by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
